Question

Rust vs Go for high-throughput network proxy

Building a TCP proxy that needs to handle 50k+ concurrent connections with sub-millisecond latency in the hot path. Go's goroutine model is easy to reason about, but concerned about GC pauses at scale. Rust gives zero-GC guarantees but the async ecosystem is still maturing. What's been your experience shipping either in production for this use case?
